Commencement is a cherished tradition that celebrates the academic accomplishments of our students. In keeping with academic tradition, all degree candidates will wear a black cap and gown, except PhD and EdD candidates, who wear green.

 

Souvenir Regalia (Bachelor's Master's & Doctoral Degrees)
  • In-store: Available NOW through November 2nd to guarantee correct sizing.

  • Online: Available NOW through November 2nd to guarantee correct sizing. Students have the option to select pickup in-store or have it shipped for an additional cost.
    • Pickup orders will be ready same day as long as orders are placed during store hours and we have your items in-stock.
    • Shipping orders will be shipped out the same day as long as orders are placed during store hours and we have your items in-stock.


If you miss the November 2nd deadline: A limited number of Souvenir Regalia sets will be available for purchase in-store or online (pickup or shipping). Sizes are limited; early ordering is strongly encouraged.

Fine Quality Regalia (PhD & EdD only)
 Purchase deadline (Oak Hall): October 5th
Production time: Approximately 8 weeks (ships ~8 weeks from order date).

Rental deadline: November 4th
**Rental regalia will not arrive until December regardless of when you place your order**

If you miss the November 4th deadline:  A limited number of Fine Quality gowns will be available to rent. The bookstore orders a limited number of pre-made Fine Quality rental gowns each semester specifically for students who miss the purchase deadline. These rental sets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Rental return deadline: All rented Fine Quality gowns must be returned by Friday, December 18th by 4:00 PM.
Replacement fee: If the rental gown is not returned by the deadline, a replacement collection cost of $1,221.00 will be charged.


Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment for regalia orders through the bookstore:

• Major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) - in-store & online
• Cash - in-store only
• OneCard - in-store & online

If you are renting Fine Quality regalia, you can pay with cash or OneCard, but you'll need to provide a valid debit or credit card to keep on file in case the rental regalia is not returned.
